Tips for buying a camera…?

I’m really into photography and I’d like to get myself a new camera. I want to get into fashion photography, and I love taking pictures of cities at night. What camera is best suited for my needs, what should I look for when buying one, etc? Thank you (:

If you want to take night shots, Fujifilm has a reputation for great night shot cameras., However I recommend Samsung WB500 camera (10x zoom +HD video and full manuals controls.) If you want to go into professional photography then get as expensive a camera as you can (SONY, Nikon or Canon) if budget is a problem, then get a compact with FULL manual controls. this will give you some SLR capabilities. This is why I recommend the Samsing WB500 or Panasonic TZ7 if price is not an issue.

When buying a camera look for
PRICE versus the following
-Zoom ( i like 5x optical zoom-NEVER buy DIGITAL zoom no matter how big it is unless there is optiacl zoom)
-resolution *MP or better. 10-12MP is good if you are gonna do photo editing
-lens type- google each lens to see how good it is
-wide angle, etc and the various controls offered
-ISO is important for night photos. Check out the range
Don’t be hoodwinked by other non neccessary features such as in camera editting because you do not really need it. You can edit better on a computer
