18 Year frail manly wanting to step into Fashion?
I am a 18 year old male who is wanting to apply for an Executive Assistant position within a fashion company (not any company in particular) I do not own a college degree however I have worked at the State House of Representatives as an Intern/Executive Assistant for two years. Do you deduce that my age and my lack of a college degree will be bad set by my experience or am I just being unrealistic? 2 Days of Training?
I got a job within a field I’m not too familiar beside. The woman whose position I will be taking is leaving in 2 days. Can you pass me some pointers of important questions I should ask her and probably take notes something like? She is leaving and I may not be able to contact her, I don’t want to be LOST when she is gone for honourable. My job has begin laying people past its sell-by date. They insist that people on my coast are safe.but you never know. Should I bestow two weeks notice if I find a better gig? I plan they wouldn’t give me two weeks notice if they laid me bad.

Hi everyone, I know I’m asking alot of the same kind of question but I was just looking for an answer to a grill I have and I can’t find it. I have to tender my 2 weeks notice on Monday. I don’t think my boss is going to be contained by then. If she doesn’t come in, in attendance is noone else in charge (she owns the company and there are solely 5 of us total) should I just leave the epistle on her desk and date it for Monday and let her see it on Fri. morning? Should I call her and transmit her? Or, should I give it to another employee who is “supposedly” within charge when shes not there, this girl is just another analyst but is mainly in charge of the patients. I only just don’t want her coming back in on Fri. (she’s going out of town Tues-Thurs.)saying that I really didn’t hand over her two weeks notice when I really did, she just wasn’t nearby to get it. I have went on several interviews for Office proprietor and Exec Asst. jobs but once they realize and see how “young” I am, they immediately disqualify me for employment. I am a thoroughly mature young fully developed and ready and willing to transport on new challenges, but I believe may age is hindering me from accomplishing my goal. 2nd Job Interview Preparation & Negotiation Strategy?
I have a 2nd interview next week near the RVP (the person who I will be supporting along with his team) and want to know how to best prepare for it. The 1st interview be with the HR Mgr and a person surrounded by a similar position. The interview was skill orientated and situational questions. I am thinking #2 is mostly a sense of self match at this point&to see if RVP thinks I can do the brief. I have reviewed their benefits on the web&from them. I don’t know the salary of this position or the vac pkg. I submitted my job application by fax shortly before the actual interview and down my salary requirements on it. This position is non-exempt &between myself&1 other candidate. Question: Is it possible to negotiate salary&time off? I am leaving a job of 7yrs and will be loosing 3wks vac. I own a trip planned for Sept 07(5 days)&a yrly trip back home of 7 days that I would like to transport. Does anyone have suggestions or experience with this? This is foreign to me, as I haven’t interviewed much.

had the first interview it went in good health Then on our second interview we went over what took place on the first interview, then I met next to one of the people I would be working with that go well & then the pave the way of HR to discuss benefits etc. before I left we go over salary & decided on a remuneration. Okay there is this lady who have called me twice already. Well the first time i turned it down, the second i didnt answer and she left me a messege, economically it is a settlement position, hard to explain.. when an account is deliquent 180 days it is sold to a 3rd group collection agency, well the settlement dept sells to those businesses, the foot is pretty good… if you are in texas effective DFW area you will know.. but i live in Crowly (s. of ftw) the opening is in Addison. 8-5 m-f. Should i pass or adopt? i need some opinions. i dont really call for to work, my husband works and i am a stay at home wife. The thing is i want to work again, and get out stuff approaching that… would this be a good job?
A few weeks ago I showed up 45 min. slowly to work and be sent home for 2 days, and my supervisor threatened ?
the other staff that if they were to show up late next they would get sent home for two days as well. Another organization staff came 1 hour and 5 min. late and she be not sent home, just given a warning. A few days after, that same member of staff showed up 3 min. late and was not sent home or even spoke to something like this. Today, I showed up 4 min. late and my supervisor told me that I am being sent home and because I have put my two weeks notice in and my later day is on Monday that it is my choice if I want to come back. I take that I should not be late and that I should suffer consequences for being behind schedule, however I feel as though I am being singled out and made an example of because I own put my 2 weeks notice in. Am I mortal obsurd for feeling this way or is this a legal argument?

Its a temp job.. Back when i got it they told me it be a scanning project. Ok fine. i’m ok carrying a few boxes and stuff but i came to find out the boss wishes us sometimes to do lifting all day AND driving rear and forth from a house owned by the company which is about 7 miles away. I often call for to put extra gas just to be able to produce it there and i dont know but if they want us to drive to places they should provide gas money.. dont you think? lead to it’s as if are paycheck was being cut beforehand receiving it having to buy gas when the position wasn’t even about driving. it’s about scan. The job was given by a Temp chore agency. Should i tell them that they are making us LIFT alot and drive? By the way.. nearly the lifting . i’m fine doing it for a while but too much is bad and i have subsidise problems. BUT sometimes its the only thing to do so i’m forced to join together.

I work for a Doctor who works at venues all over England. Its celebrated that he liases with his staff, ie. me, but when he phones to discuss important matter to do with work, he takes such a long time discussion on the phone, sometimes about important things and sometimes in the order of less important things. I own strict deadlines and have LOTS of work to do within the hours i have; because of his (very) frequent calls, I hold to rush my work which makes it harder. I work shifts with another character, but apparently he doesnt call her that much…possibly because he believes that i am more reliable. This means that she is under pressure less, and i have more work to do contained by less time. How can I tell him to lately talk to me about historic stuff and not irrelevant or less important stuff, and how can i provoke him to phone less frequently, but phone once with ALL information!? He is the crucial boss, and he gets insulted very confidently. What can i do?

I am going to be starting a career as of August 6, 2007 and I will be doing a lot of notes entry. I have never had such a position previously, and I am currently using my keyboard alot more now, and so I would similar to to know, how often do secretary’s get a manicure done, especially where on earth you use the keyboard so much, and you tend to experience tightness in the center of the mitt from keyboarding so much.
