Happily married women, do you sometimes wish you could do your wedding over again?
Whether you had a screwed-up wedding or everything was just right, do you sometimes wish you could do it again, the beautiful dresses, doing your hair up and making the men in your life actually wear something decent for once? Pick a different theme, different colors, different music, change of venue, etc?
I have dreamed of how I would do my wedding differently a hundred times, not because anything was *wrong* with my wedding, but I still love looking at bridal magazines and dresses and fantasizing how I would do it if I was getting married with current fashions and ideas for weddings.
Do any of you plan on using a major anniversary (25th, 50th, etc) to semi-re-create the general feel of the event?
I doubt I could possibly out do our wedding, as it was everything I had ever dreamed (and so much more)…it was small, relaxed, outdoors, everyone was barefoot, there was actually a rainbow in the sky!!! I don’t think I could ever do anything better than that no matter how I tried.
I would like to have a vow renewal for our 10th, 20th, , etc, but that’s mostly because we’re party people, and that would be another reason to get people together for a celebration!
